How you dress for a running race that can make a big difference in your performance. If you run regularly, then you are needs the some comfortable cloths in the right material, appropriate shoes and dressing for the weather. There are various differences between the cloths you are regularly in and race day cloths.

Invest In Lightweight, Technical Clothing:  When you are racing then your cloths must not weigh you down or restrict your movement. The technical running is the most lightweight and at least restrict. It will also wick sweat away from your body and it stays light and dry.

Opt For Running Socks: Running socks are a good choice for racing. These socks do not have seams, which can be caused blisters. Some running socks have double layers that can be also prevent blisters. You can also find very thin running socks in technical materials to help you avoid sweaty feet.

Layer In The Cold:  You are dressed in the layers for the races in cold weather. Thin layers are better than one heavy layer because heat will stay trapped between the layers. So you can also remove the layers as your body heats up.

Get The Right Fit: If you want to make sure that your shoes fit properly and are comfortable. So try in the many bars and run around the store to test the fit. This is the way your foot feels when you are run can tell you how much support you will need for your shoes. This will help you to stabilize your body and can be prevent the knee pain and injury.

Grab Your Water Bottle: Run with a water bottle to stay the hydrated during your race. This is most important in any types of the weather. Water bottles with a hand strap, runners belts with a water bottle and designed to make a carrying your water easier.

Take Your Technology: The runners accessorize with all types of the electronic gear. Headphones and watches are the most common gear for races. The watches can help you to runners the keep track of time, show different splits for intervals, and can even come with GPS.

Apply Sunscreen: When you are running outdoors, then it is most important to protect your skin from the sun. Make sure to apply an SPF 3 or higher water resistant sunscreen about the 20 to 25 minutes before the race again. This will help you to protect your form getting sunburn while you are running.
